Q: I have a site with existing graphics. Will they work with your site management application?
Yes. In most cases, we can replicate your site as it currently exist, using your graphics and styling.
Q: Does your web publishing application support Flash?
Yes. We support Flash video in our Video Library.
Q: What other video file types does the Video Library support?
You can upload Quicktime video’s as well as include links to video’s on video sharing sites like YouTube.
Q: Does your web publishing application support the use of Flash for site navigation?
No. Not at this time. Most people want search engines to find the links to their site pages located in their site navigation. Those page links are hidden from search engines in site menu’s created in Flash.
Q: Can I style text that I enter?
The primary styling of text areas, such as descriptions, are styleed by your sites style sheet but you can apply text styling, such as bold, underline, italics, paragraphs and headers. You can create list as well as include hypertext links to web pages. A text styling bar is included, which is based on the Textile markup language.
Q: I want my site pages to be indexed by search engines to improve my chances of being found. How are your pages rendered for search engines?
BrewedFresh Media’s web publishing application renders pages in text and HTML, so that search engines can access the content of your site pages for search indexing. The layout and styling of our hosted sites are done using Cascading Style Sheets.
Q: Do I need to know HTML to use the Textile markup language?
No. The Textile markup language was designed specifically for non-technical users to allow them to use HTML without needing to learn it.
Q: Can I pay my hosting fee in advance instead of on a month-to-month basis?
Yes. We offer a discount to customers who want to pay for a year of hosting in advance. If you want to pay for a year in advance, you get one year of hosting for the price of eleven. You save one month of hosting cost for advance payment.
